Oh wow. Such a pretty cookie, and I bet they’re delicious too! Chocolate is a good combo with just about anything in my book. 🙂 Stopping by from the DBB.

I would love to have you link up to my ongoing Inspire Me party – – -http://www.astrollthrulife.net/2013/11/190th-inspire-me-tuesday.html – – Plus we are having a Holiday Baking Party on the 20th. I would love to see you there too. Hugs, Marty
What should the dough on these cookies be like? I followed the recipe exactly but it ended up something like crumby flavored flour. I added a little more butter (actually quite a bit more about 1/3 C) to get to to form a dough. In the fridge now, hope it turns out 🙂
So I just attempted making these cookies and I noticed your ingredients call for 2 t of oil but it doesn’t show up anywhere in your directions. Do I out the oil in the mixture then??? It has turned out rather crumbly without it

My mom used to make a cherry cookie very similar to this with pecans but we never dipped it in the chocolate. Loved them this way! hope you love them!

Mine wasn’t crumbly at all. It was just a normal refrigerator kind of cookie dough. Let me know how it turns out!

Mary Ellen says
The oil is for the chocolate, the recipe says that. I need to make this again. It is a shortbread kind of cookie but it shouldn’t be crumbly.
