Seafood Sampler

1 yellow bell pepper, chopped
1 medium onion, cut into thin wedges
1 teaspoon olive oil
1 can (15 ounces) reduced-sodium diced tomatoes undrained
2 medium potatoes, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
1/2 cup dry white wine or clam juice
8 ounces haddock, cut into 1-inch cubes
4 ounces bay scallops
4 ounces shrimp, peeled, deveined
1 teaspoon herbes de Provence or Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon celery seeds
1 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
Salt, to taste

Saute pepper and onion in oil in large saucepan until lightly browned. Add tomatoes and liquid, potatoes, and wine. Heat to boiling; reduce heat and simmer, covered, 10 minutes. Add seafood, herbes de Provence, and celery seeds. Simmer until fish is tender and flakes with a fork, 10 to 15 minutes. Stir in hot pepper sauce; season to taste with salt.
