Herbed Mushroom Round Steak

2 lbs round steak, about 3/4″ thick
oil (to brown meat)
1 med. onion
2 4 oz cans of mushrooms
1 10 3/4 oz can cream of mushroom soup
1/4 c. beef broth
1/2 tsp dried oregano
1/4 tsp dried thyme
1/4 tsp pepper

Trim fat from meat. cut into serving size portions. brown meat on both sides in skillet (use oil).

Place meat, onion slices, & mushrooms in crockpot.

Combine soup, broth, & seasonings; pour over meat.

Cover, cook on low heat for 8 to 10 hours or on high heat for 4 to 5 hours.
